What is the Standardized value in identifier type for member id?

I only see the value 'member number; in the previous version

Member of what? Do you mean an insurer’s member identifier?

The value set is extensible, so you’re free to use MB given that none of the others apply. You might consider submitting a change request to add MB to the official value set for R5.
