Could you please clarify how can we manage Device Definition records according to FHIR? E.g. in case of error or inactivation. The description of Device Definition resource doesn’t include ‘status’ element, as it’s provided in Device resource.

The absence of a status seems like a pretty big omission. Suggest submitting a change request asking for it to be added. At minimum it needs an ‘active’ flag, and probably a proper status like most Metadata resources.
