System Url for SNOMED codes with Private Identifier Namespace

Dear FHIR Community,

I have a question regarding the use of SNOMED in FHIR. If I encode SNOMED codes using a private identifier namespace in a FHIR CodeableConcept , is http://snomed.info/sct then the correct system url to use? Or is this only allowed to be used by official SNOMED codes and I should use a different one?

My assumption would be: Yes, http://snomed.info/sct can be used as system url since extended SNOMED CT identifier using a private identifier namespace must be valid SNOMED CT identifier.

Yes. You indicate the private namespace extension through the version using standard SNOMED CT version URI
